Depression

I offer support for low mood difficulties. If you are noticing an increase in avoidance, poor self-care and feeling troubled by negative thoughts, therapy could be useful for you to begin understanding the development of these mood difficulties and breaking out of these patterns.

Self-Esteem

Do you notice that you struggle with your worth and value? Many different life experiences can knock our self-esteem and we can end up in a negative cycle of being hard on ourselves and feeling low because of this. Therapy could help you become more aware of the origins of these patterns and how to begin viewing yourself differently.

Anxiety

Anxiety comes in many shapes and forms. Therapy can help you work through social anxiety, OCD, panic disorder or panic attacks, generalised anxiety or phobias. Tackling anxiety can be challenging but willingness and belief is key to begin making changes.

Expat Adjustment

It can be extremely difficult adjusting to a new life abroad. Settling in a new job, getting used to a different culture, making new friends and feeling the pull of home can make expat life less enjoyable. Therapy can help you work through these difficulties and navigate those unfamiliar areas.

Navigating Emotions

Do you find it difficult to understand what you are truly feeling? Notice that you are pushing emotions away or feel scared to acknowledge them? Therapy can help you understand why you might have developed these mechanisms and look at ways to begin validating yourself again.

Burnout

Many expats experience burnout whilst they are working in a fast-paced high expectation job role for big corporations. Do you feel that there are not enough hours in the day but that your mental health is suffering and that you could reach breaking point any minute? It might be time to get support.

Here are some questions that you might be having due to your current situation:

What are the signs of depression, and when should I seek professional help?

How can I identify and cope with symptoms of anxiety?

How does low self-esteem develop and how can I improve the way I view myself?

What strategies are effective in maintaining a sense of identity and belonging while living abroad?

How can I better understand and manage my emotions in high-pressure situations?

How can I recognise the early signs of burnout before it becomes overwhelming?

Why do I feel so anxious in relationships?

Is there a connection between the mind and body when feeling depressed?

How does social media impact self-esteem, and what strategies can be employed to maintain a positive self-image?

How do cultural differences impact mental health, and how can they be navigated?

Are there specific therapies or techniques for individuals struggling with intense emotions?

What impact does technology and the "always-on" culture have on burnout, and how can it be managed?
